Burns Night 2017
The Cara Coweth Water Sierra Leone Burns Night on the 14th January was again a great success with over 100 people attending and being richly entertained and fed. It was a fantastic night and as it's the main fundraiser each year for the charity it was a great success and the committee really appreciate everyone's support.
This year the event raised just over £1700 profit from the night, including donations, which makes it the most successful fundraiser to date. That completely finishes off the Madina Solar Project, giving the town of 3-4 thousand people sustainable access to clean drinking water.

Film Nights in The Stithians Centre are always great fun. A few pics from our last showing in March which was The Lady in The Van. Each film is supported with all the cinema trapping including popcorn, icecream and a bar.
