OPENING TIMES

There are about 2,500 books, mostly on loan from Redruth Library (which can be exchanged on a regular basis), but also many donated by local residents and now the property of the Centre Library.

There is a large section of fiction, some in large print, and also biographies, local interest and about 400 non-fiction books on diverse subjects. There are also some audio books. It is possible to order specific books through the Centre Library at a small cost.

Young adults are well catered for in their dedicated section, as are pre-school children with about 250 books and their own seating area and floor cushions.

It is very easy to join the library with a small charge of £1 per year for adults. Members are allowed 3 books at any one time for up to four weeks
